Larman Construction is a family owned and operated company. Our employees are well-trained professionals in the field of excavation with an average of 15 years of experience. We keep our equipment in excellent working condition to maintain job-site safety and provide our clients with efficient service avoiding unnecessary delays due to preventable breakdowns.
Since 1984 we have been serving the Dallas-Ft.Worth and North Texas areas with “excellence in excavating” services establishing the experience necessary to complete your excavation project to your satisfaction. With a workforce of more than 20 employees and a wealth of knowledge and experience behind it, Larman Construction continues to expand the quality and service of the traditional excavation company. Larman Construction proudly strives to keep our clients completely satisfied, allowing us to build long-term relationships and continue to do repeat work for local pool companies, home builders and individuals.
Company History
In 1984, Vern Larman started Larman Construction Company, Inc. with two employees, one excavator, two dump trucks, and pick-up. Vern was encouraged to start his own company after clients observed his skillful operation of on-site equipment and his diplomatic management skills. After obtaining a start-up loan to purchase equipment, Larman Construction began excavating its first job on March 1, 1984.
Over the past 22 years Larman Construction has grown steadily and maintained long-term business relationships with many of our original clients. From one three-man crew in the beginning to five fully staffed crews, Larman Construction’s capacity to serve clients in a professional environment has continued to expand. Our aim is to be a total service provider for excavation construction. We are reaching this objective by using a well-maintained, high quality fleet of equipment operated and care for by experienced individuals in the excavation industry. The recent completion of our new construction facility has provided the opportunity to enhance services to our clients and employees.
Much of this quality can be traced to the longevity of our employees, many of whom have been with us for more than 20 years. Another reason for our quality of service is family ties. In addition to Vern, president, other family members are also involved in the success of the company. Karen Larman, Vern’s wife, serves as vice-president and treasurer. Lorin Larman, Vern’s brother, is a part-owner and excavation supervisor. Jonathan Larman, Vern’s son, serves as web master for our two websites: LarmanConstruction.com and DallasPoolDemolition.com. Jason Larman, Vern’s youngest son, serves as an excavation supervisor.
Environmental
At Larman Construction we are also committed to maintaining the environment. We regularly replace outdated equipment with newer more energy-efficient equipment. We also recycle all recyclable materials used by our equipment and/or excavated from job sites.
Capabilities
We are fully equipped to handle all excavation services pertaining to new pool excavation, old pool demolition and removal, construction of new stock ponds and basements.
